QUESTIONS/PROBLEMS

We do expect to go through our season without problems but we are aware of the impossibility of this happening. Therefore  if a parent has any questions or problems please follow the chain of command listed below:

  1. First allow 24 hours to report a problem sometimes problems work themselves out.

  2. Please consult your child's coach.  The coach required to uphold the association and to do whatever is feasible to rectify the situation.

  3. If the problems persist and the coach cannot handle the situation you will  then be consulted by the president or  vice president of the association.

  4. The president or vice president cannot solve the problem; a board meeting will be called to make the final decision.  All decisions will benefit the association as a whole.

RULES - YOU NEED TO KNOW

FEES - All fees are due by the designated deadline. Please give all monies to the proper officers. Coaches are not allowed to accept any fees. When paying fees always get a receipt to keep for your records. There is a $5 charge for each track meet your son/daughter will compete. This fee is only for participation in the track meet. It does not include food or travel. Please provide a lunch or money for all track meets. All fees are non-refundable.

BIRTH CERTIFICATES - Returning athletes are not required to provide a copy of your birth certificate. All new members are required to give the association a copy of an original birth certificate. We reserve the right to ask for the original if we cannot clearly see the official seal on the birth certificate. Hallmark wants to continue our reputation of practicing good sportsmanship and honest competition.

TRANSPORTATION - The association does not provide transportation to and from practices or track meets. As a courtesy we reserve vans for meets for all athletes that do not have transportation for a small fee. We also ask that if you start a carpool with a fellow participant, please show your appreciation by giving a small donation.

BEHAVIOR - We expect all athletes, parents, and coaches to always practice good behavior. We will not tolerate behavior unbecoming of a classy track club. All athletes are required to respect and cooperate with coaches and staff. At the track meets they must stay with coaches or parents at all times. Athletes, coaches, and parents are not allowed to use alcoholic beverages or tobacco products at any facility where we practice or compete. We ask that when disciplining you child please refrain from embarrassing or degrading comments in the presence of others. However we do agree that bad behavior must be reprimanded. We don't condone any behavior that disrespects the association as a whole. Therefore we ask that no profanity be used at any time at any place where athletes are present. Thank you in advance for your cooperation.
